Before the Wedding
As we all know, you have
to take a test if you want to get a license to drive, practice law or
medicine, or fly a plane. There is also a way
provided to prepare for this test. A marriage license stands out
as the only license that not only has no test, but no way to prepare to
get it.
There is a growing realization that today, more people get hurt in bad
marriages than by cars, airplanes, doctors, and lawyers combined.
This is why we offer a short and usable prep course for couples who are
getting married. The course is run at least once a year (or whenever
the spaces fill up).
Topics include:
Expectations and Commitment
Communication Skills
Finances
Male and Female
Anger and Conflict
Resolution
Forgiveness and Spiritual
Life
Sex
How to Have a Good Fight
